Week 3

Monday 30th March, 2020 - Friday 3rd April, 2020

DAILY RECITATIONS

Every morning students are encouraged to say The Lord's Prayer, The Bahamian National Anthem & The Bahamian National Pledge​. Please join them and help enforce the correct posture for each activity.

LESSON  1

Students will review the letter Gg. Watch the YouTube video to introduce the letter of the day.

Following the video, students will practice identifying the capital and lowercase Gg and trace the letters. 

*There are also free apps available for finger-tracing the letters on tablets or phones.

LESSON  2

Today, students will move on to another Bible story to start the new month. 

Students will listen to the story Jesus is Alive with the beginners Bible The Story of Easter. 

 

Memory Verse: Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever. Hebrews 13:8

LESSON  3

Students will review the number 9 by watching video 1 from youtube. Students will practice tracing the number 9 in the sand, flour, or salt sensory bin. 

Afterward, students will think about nine objects that start with the letter Gg.

After, students have guessed the Gg objects, then they can watch video 2, which provide the answers.

*Parents are allowed to provide hints (eg. the opposite of stop = GO), but refrain from giving students the answers. 

LESSON  4

Students will learn about the color brown. Watch the "Brown Video"

Following this, students will use the color brown to color each object on the color sheet

1. Don't forget to review week 1 and 2.

 

2. Feel free to explore the "Additional Resources" to keep your child's 

attention and imagination stimulated while at home.

3. Continue to make Potty Time meaningful to your child!
